Vetcare chlorexyl oto 150 ml is a specific solution for the hygiene, cleansing and acidification of the ear canal of dogs, cats, ferrets and rabbits. Taking advantage of the well-known properties of chlorhexidine, it is useful as an adjuvant treatment in the therapy of ear infections and sermatitis.

Otitis externa is an acute or chronic inflammatory process of the external auditory canal. There may be various causes for this pathology: particular anatomy of the ears of some breeds, humid environment, ectoparasitosis, allergic dermatitis, anomalous development of the bacterial flora (malassezia pachydermatis, staphylococcus spp., pseudomonas spp., proteus spp.), accumulations of earwax, etc.

Product structure

Benzoic and hydroacetic organic acids, in addition to carrying out a very useful and effective keratolytic action, create an acidic environment on the skin of the external auditory canal which makes the reproduction of pathogenic germs and disease unfavorable.
The phytotherapeutic aloe gel extract has a natural hydrating and anti-inflammatory action.
Tea tree essential oil, thanks to its natural properties, enhances the activity of the product against the bacteria present on the part, and limits the growth of saprophytic fungi and yeasts.
It is recommended for use in daily cleaning operations of the ear canal and as an adjuvant in the treatment of otitis complicated by pathogenic germs, malassezia, and ceruminous hypersecretion.

Aqua, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Coco-glucoside, Aqua, Chlorhexidine Digluconate, Aloe Barbadensis gel, Phenoxyethanol, Malaleuca Alterifolia Oil, Benzoic acid, ehydroacetic acid Ethylhexylglycerin.

How to use

Clorexyl oto comes in a liquid solution, not oily or greasy, and should be applied into the ear canal 1 or 2 times a day. Thanks to the measuring nozzle it is possible to easily administer a precise and calibrated dose of product into the external ear canal. After application, gently massage the base of the ear to help dissolve the earwax and impurities that accumulate there. Use a cotton ball to absorb excess liquid and remove any debris and exudates. Repeat these operations daily according to the judgment of the veterinary surgeon.
