Therapeutic indications

Duelmint is indicated in the treatment of gastro-intestinal roundworm and tapeworm infestations in dogs and cats. In particular: nematodes: roundworms (toxocara spp., Toxascaris spp.), hookworms (ancylostoma spp., Uncinaria spp.), whipworms (trichuris spp.); tapeworms: tapeworms (echinococcus spp., Dipylidium spp., Taenia spp., Diphyllobothrium spp.).

Dosage and administration

Duelmint should be administered to dogs and cats at a dosage of 20 mg of mebendazole/kg body weight. and 1 mg of praziquantel/kg body weight. following the scheme below. Duelmint 20 puppies and kittens: 1 cc of paste, equal to 1 mark on the syringe, per kg of live weight once a day for 3 consecutive days. One syringe is sufficient to treat 5 kg of total weight in one therapy cycle. Administer the paste via syringe directly into the animal's oral cavity, preferably at the base of the tongue. Fasting is not necessary and the pasta can also be administered mixed with food. To ensure correct dosage, body weight must be determined as accurately as possible.
