Description

Therapeutic indications

Drontal puppy is an anthelmintic for the deworming of puppies and dogs up to one year of age.

Effective in eliminating the following intestinal parasites:

  • roundworms - Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina
  • hookworms - Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum
  • whipworms - Trichuris vulpis

Drug based on Febantel and Pirantel, specifically formulated for the elimination of worms in puppies.

Dosage and method of use

Suitable for administration in very young puppies, who often contract parasites from their mother, transplacentally or through breastfeeding.

Treatment should begin at the age of two weeks and be repeated every 14 days, to allow the elimination of parasites, which does not occur completely with a single administration.

The recommended dose is 1 ml of anthelmintic for every kg of body weight.

Administration can take place using the measuring syringe or by mixing the drug with food.
