Therapeutic indications

Treatment of gastrointestinal roundworm infestations in kittens and adult cats and in puppies and adult dogs.

In dogs, also as an aid in the control of the Giardia protozoan.

Panacur type of infestations

Dosage and administration

Panacur should be administered directly into the mouth after a meal.

Alternatively, the paste can also be mixed into food.

Recommended dosage:

Kittens and adult cats

The dose is 75 mg of Fenbendazole/kg of live weight/day for two consecutive days

  • up to 2 kg live weight: 3 marks on the syringe
  • 2.1kg to 4kg live weight: 6 syringe marks 
  • 4.1kg to 6kg live weight: 9 syringe marks 

Puppies and adult dogs

the dose is 50 mg of Fenbendazole/kg of live weight/day for 3 consecutive days

  • from 1 kg to 2 kg live weight: 2 marks on the syringe
  • from 2.1 kg to 3 kg live weight: 3 syringe marks
  • 3.1 kg to 4 kg live weight: 4 syringe marks 
  • from 4.1 kg to 5 kg live weight: 5 syringe marks
  • from 5.1 kg to 6 kg live weight: 6 syringe marks
