Therapeutic indications

Dermaxid Shampoo is specifically formulated for the topical treatment of dermatoses with a bacterial component and/or impaired sebaceous secretion.

It proves to be a precious ally against superficial and deep pyoderma, pyoderma of the folds (intertrigo), cellulite, folliculitis, seborrhea, furunculosis, acne, Schnautzer blackhead syndrome.

The shampoo is an excellent adjuvant during the treatment of pathologies such as demodicosis, pyodemodicosis, pododemodicosis and malassezia pachydermatis dermatitis, as an antiseptic skin treatment for periodic use.

Dosage and administration

Before using the shampoo, shake the bottle for at least 30 seconds.

Use Dermaxid Shampoo through two successive applications:

• Wet the animal's coat with warm water.
• Proceeding in small areas, distribute approximately 1/2 teaspoon (2-3 ml) of product in each area until it covers the entire surface of the body, then massage to obtain a light foam.
• Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
• Proceed with a second application, massaging carefully to facilitate contact of the product with the animal's skin.
• Leave to act for 5-10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and dry the animal well.

• 10-20 ml of product for a small breed dog
• 20-40 ml of product for a medium-sized dog
• 40-80 ml of product for a large or very large breed dog.

In more complex cases and for the first applications, daily or every other day applications are necessary.

In milder cases and after the first improvements, the frequency can be reduced to one application per week.

For maintenance antiseptic treatment it is recommended to use once or twice a month.
