Therapeutic indications

Drotal Gatto is a non-prescription dewormer for cats, which helps treat mixed infestations by roundworms and tapeworms, caused in particular by:

• Ascarids: Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina
• Hookworms: Ancylostoma tubaeforme, Ancylostoma braziliense
• Cestodes: Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis, Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Mesocestoides spp., Joyeuxiella spp.

Thanks to the combination of the two active ingredients, Praziquantel and Pirantel, the tablets for cats perform a rapid anthelmintic function

Parasites are eliminated after 48 hours through urine and feces, allowing the cat to restore normal intestinal and gastric balance, as well as eliminating the symptoms caused by parasitism.

Dosage and administration

The tablets are administered only once, orally. 

The tablets are flavored and highly palatable to facilitate administration.

However, they can be mixed with your favorite food if necessary. 

Animals should be weighed before treatment for correct administration.

The dosage involves the administration of one tablet for every 4 kg of the animal's body weight. 

The dose is 5 mg of praziquantel and 57.5 mg of pyrantelembonate per kg of body weight.

The tablet can be divided as needed.

The dewormer can be administered starting from the first month of the cat's life, according to the veterinarian's instructions.
