Description

Reflecto 1 is a 65cm anti-parasitic collar for dogs. The active ingredient of the collar is deltamethrin. It is used to prevent tick infestations for 6 months, flea infestations for 4 months and has a repellent effect on adult mosquitoes for 6 months. The treatment also provides a repellent effect against sandflies for 12 months, reducing the risk of transmission of visceral leishmaniasis in dogs. The collar can be used on puppies over 7 weeks of age.

Therapeutic Indications

Reflecto 1 is indicated for the prevention of tick infestations for 6 months, flea infestations for 4 months and has a repellent effect on adult mosquitoes for 6 months. The treatment also provides a repellent effect against sandflies for 12 months, reducing the risk of transmission of visceral leishmaniasis in dogs. The collar can be used on puppies over 7 weeks of age.

Composition

Active ingredient: Deltamethrin. The collar is available in two sizes: 48 cm and 65 cm, containing 0.760 g and 1.000 g of Deltamethrin respectively.

Contraindications

In case of marked local irritation or allergic reaction, the collar should be removed immediately.

Method of administration

The collar must be applied around the dog's neck, adjusting the length so that it is neither too tight nor too loose. The collar must be worn continuously for the duration of the protection period.

The collar provides protection for 6 months against ticks, 4 months against fleas and 6 months against adult mosquitoes. It also has a repellent effect on sandflies for 12 months.
