Description

Therapeutic indications

Parasitic infestations sensitive to deltamethrin.

Prevention of tick re-infestation (Ixodes ricinus and Rhipicephalus sanguineus) through an acaricidal effect for 6 months.

Prevention of sandfly bites (Phlebotomus perniciosus) due to the repellent (anti-feeding) effect for 5 months. Prevention of mosquito bites (Culex pipiens) due to the repellent (anti-feeding) effect for 6 months.

Dosage and administration

Prevendog is a dog collar. The 60cm long collar should be used on small to medium sized dogs. It fits necks up to 48 cm.

Remove the collar from the packaging and remove the safety strip (peel-away). Adjust the collar around the pet's neck without tightening it too much. You should be able to fit two fingers between the collar and the dog's neck. Slide the end through the buckle and cut the excess length beyond 5cm.

This collar has been designed with a safety locking mechanism (anti-strangulation safety). In the unlikely event that a dog is trapped, the dog's strength is sufficient to widen the collar to allow for a quick release.
