Feliway® friends is scientifically proven to help maintain harmony between cats living in the same home, reducing conflicts and tensions between cats. Pheromones are perceived in the environment, through an area near the nose. The cat's appeasing pheromone is released naturally by the mother in the mammary area. It produces a strong satisfying action that helps maintain the bond between kittens and their mother. Feliway® friends is a synthetic copy of this pheromone and is released through an electric diffusion device. Feliway® friends is species specific. It can only be perceived by cats and reproduces the same message for all cats. It has no sedative effect on humans or other animals in the home. Feliway® friends has no contraindications when used with any other treatment. Cat behavior is often very complex and there are various possibilities of approach. Feliway® friends is the first choice non-pharmacological solution to encourage coexistence in a home with multiple cats. It has been shown to help reduce the frequency and intensity of conflicts and tensions between cats living in the same household.
