CALMEX® FOR CATS contains a unique blend of nutraceuticals useful to support cats suffering from acute or chronic stress.

• Lecithin (source of Phosphatidylserine) Contains an important brain phospholipid1, which has an important role in the production and release of neurotransmitters and therefore improves the communication of nerve cells
• It has been shown that Phosphatidylserine normalizes the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal response to stress1,
• L-Tryptophan An amino acid precursor of serotonin4.
• The regulation of serotonin, having a role in various physiological functions, can improve anxiety and stress
• Supplementation in cats has been shown to reduce behaviors associated with stress, particularly inappropriate marking and scratching
• B vitamins (B1, B3, B6) These vitamins are involved in the synthesis of key neurotransmitters and can reduce cortisol production in response to stress

Dosage and method of administration

Administer daily to help counteract chronic stress. If necessary, double the recommended dose may be given before an acute stressful event.
