Equest and moxidectin in horses: responsible use

Equest is an oral veterinary medicine containing moxidectin. Selection, quantity and timing must be based on a correctly estimated weight and the veterinary plan.

The product does not replace the plan

The UPD source identifies Equest as an oral gel for horses and ponies and classifies the verified presentation as prescription-only. Not all parasites or stages respond in the same way.

Faecal egg counts, group history and resistance patterns help the veterinarian decide whether and when to use an anthelmintic.

Avoid public doses without context
