COMPOSITION

Rice, dehydrated chicken meat, animal fat, potatoes, oats, dehydrated whole eggs, linseed, hydrolysed animal proteins, fish oil, potassium chloride, calcium sulphate dihydrate, calcium carbonate, vegetable oil, sodium chloride, glucosamine (0.06%). Urine acidifier: calcium sulphate dihydrate (4.5g/kg).

MECHANISM OF ACTION

Calcium sulphate maintains an acidic pH by inhibiting the new formation of struvite crystals. The reduced protein content reduces the formation of urea by inhibiting bacterial proliferation. The low concentrations of magnesium, phosphorus and calcium help reduce the aggregation and precipitation of crystals.
