COMPOSITION

Corn gluten, rice, dehydrated chicken meat, oats, animal fat, hydrolysed animal proteins, dried whole eggs, fish oil, dehydrated fish, potassium chloride, vegetable oil, calcium sulphate dihydrate, calcium carbonate, inulin, fructooligosaccharides, mannanoligosaccharides, sodium chloride, Marigold flower extract (source of lutein). Protein sources: corn gluten, dehydrated chicken meat, hydrolysed fish and chicken proteins, eggs, fish. Urine acidifiers: DL-methionine (7g/kg), calcium sulphate dihydrate (5g/kg).

MECHANISM OF ACTION

The low concentrations of proteins, calcium, phosphorus and magnesium contained in Farmina Vet Life Struvite generate an environment unfavorable to the aggregation and precipitation of crystals. Added DL-methionine induces and maintains an acidic urinary pH, promoting the dissolution of the stone and inhibiting its new formation. It also creates an unfavorable environment for bacterial proliferation.
