Therapeutic indications
Quietex is a product based on plant extracts that allows you to overcome, in a natural way, all the stressful situations to which the horse is subjected. Quietex is therefore particularly suitable for the management of nervous subjects in the imminence of competitive activities, transport, shoeing practices or veterinary visits. In particular, the transport of horses must meet the needs of well-being, speed and safety, since the journey still represents a stressful factor for the horse, which could also influence the result of the subsequent competitive performance. The particular sensitivity of some subjects to be transported sometimes leads to having to resort to the use of so-called "chemical restraints" whose administration should always be done under veterinary supervision. Quietex represents a valid alternative to the use of drugs which could depress some structures of the nervous system, altering the psycho-physical balance of the horse. Quietex does not cause alterations in the sensorium, leaving the horse alert and reactive, also avoiding possible excessive reactions to noises and moving objects. Quietex allows treated subjects to face competitions in the best conditions, so as to be able to best express their performance. Quietex is available in oral paste, in very practical single-dose syringes for rapid administration, or in powder whose use is particularly economical.
Dosage and administration
Quietex oral paste: for the competition, administer 1 syringe into the oral cavity the day before the competition and another syringe 2 hours before the test. For transport, administer 1 syringe 2 hours before departure and a second syringe after 8 hours if transport is prolonged. Quietex powder: 1 scoop per day (30 g), without taking into account the weight of the subject.
