In mammals, all nursing females release substances called "satisfying pheromones" which have the function of reassuring the litter. Dog "satisfying pheromones" are secreted in nursing bitches from sebaceous glands located in the intermammary fold. These pheromones calm puppies in case of stress and induce confidence, particularly when they find themselves in new environments or have to face new experiences. Research has shown that the reassuring properties of these pheromones persist even into adulthood. ADAPTIL (Satisfying Dog Pheromone), originates from veterinary research and reproduces all the properties of natural maternal "satisfying pheromones".
INDICATIONS
ADAPTIL helps prevent and stop signs related to stress and fear in puppies and adults such as: - Destructions, - Vocalizations, - Inappropriate elimination, - Excessive licking. ADAPTIL helps control the fear of loud noises (e.g. fireworks, thunderstorms). In this case it is necessary to apply ADAPTIL 15 days before the event or keep it inserted in the period of greatest frequency of storms. ADAPTIL reassures the dog that is in a stressful environment (guests, strangers, veterinary visits, new and unexpected situations). ADAPTIL helps the introduction of a puppy into a new environment, e.g. adoption, moving, meeting strangers.
HOW TO USE
Place ADAPTIL in the room most used by the dog. 1 bottle lasts approximately 4 weeks. Covered area: 50 - 70 m2. The duration of use can be modified according to the indications of the veterinarian.
PRESENTATION Pack containing: 1 diffuser + 1 48 ml bottle. Refill: 1 bottle of 48 ml. The diffuser is specifically designed for this product. Product properties cannot be guaranteed if a different diffuser is used. It is advisable to replace the electric diffuser after continuous use of 6 months or after the total use of 6 bottles.
PRECAUTIONS Keep away from children. Do not cover. Check that the voltage is the same as that indicated on the speaker. Do not place under furniture. When plugged in, do not touch the speaker with metal objects. Do not touch the speaker with your hands when it is active and has just been removed from the socket. The electric diffuser must only be used with this formulation of ADAPTIL diffuser; if another substance is used it may increase the toxicity and flammability of the latter. The surface of the diffuser reaches high temperatures to facilitate the evaporation of the active components and therefore must not be touched during use of the product. In case of contact with eyes, wash them immediately with water and seek the advice of a specialist. Avoid contact with skin. In case of contact with skin, wash completely with soap and water. If the product is ingested, consult a doctor immediately and show him the label.
