INFORMATION - State of agitation

States of agitation, restlessness or aggression in dogs and cats can be frequent and are a clear sign of an illness that the animal is experiencing. In dogs, episodes of agitation can occur following triggers such as separation, storms, the introduction of new individuals into the family and even travel. Even for cats, restlessness can occur in the event of an interruption or change in their routine such as the arrival of another animal or another person in the household, a change of home or furniture, litter box or food, or during transport for a long journey.

It is a very common behavioral pathology in animals of all breeds, sexes and ages. The dog suffering from this problem is usually very attached to his human companion, follows him everywhere, is unable to remain alone, to the point of scratching or biting the doors that separate him from his human. If left alone, the dog can howl insistently to the limit, destroy objects or furniture, urinate or defecate in the house.

Causes

Usually the cause of this pathology is an altered relationship between dog and man, while the predisposing factors can be traced back to events difficult during childhood (e.g. early separation from mother and siblings), or in severe traumas (e.g. severe thunderstorm) or phobias.

HOW TO USE:

It is recommended to administer orally based on weight and state of agitation.
Animals weighing <5 kg: 10-20 drops (up to 1/2 teaspoon)
Animals weighing between 5-10 Kg: 20-40 drops (from 1/2 to 1 teaspoon)
Animals weighing between 10-20 Kg: 40-80 drops (from 1 to 2 teaspoons)
Animals weighing >20 Kg: 80-160 drops (from 2 to 4 teaspoons)
(1 teaspoon is equivalent to approximately 2.5 mL)
Shake before of use.
