Characteristics and intended use
Buran is a complementary feed indicated for adult horses and foals, with arthrospira platensis, fermented pineapple and ivy.
This supplement for horses helps correct respiratory function which is achieved by enhancing systemic and local antioxidant defences and protecting the airways from inflammatory states, this allows for improved expectorant activity in the presence of mucous secretions, this allows for better immune defences during infectious and inflammatory processes.
Buran contains elements selected for their antioxidant properties on the functionality of the horse's respiratory system:
Vitamin C and Vitamin E which improve tolerance to physical exercise and bronchial inflammation;
Spirulina is a micro alga with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory functions that inhibits the production of free radicals and improves antioxidant defences in cases of COPD.
It also contains a mixture of 4 selected plant extracts that help the horse's respiratory function:
Glycyrrhizin has the ability to reduce mucus production at bronchial level during chronic inflammation of the respiratory system.
Allium Sativum: helps reduce tracheal exudation with mucolytic and bronchial antispasmodic effect.
Hedera Helix: expectorant, antibacterial, antispasmodic, antitussive.
Hydrolysed bromelain: reduces mucus formation, exerts an immunostimulant action, protects the horse from bacterial inflammation.
