The presence of mineral macroelements (calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine, sodium and potassium), mineral trace elements (zinc, iron, copper, manganese, selenium and iodine) and all vitamins has been carefully considered taking into account the typical deficiencies of traditional home diets. The high intake of antioxidant nutrients (vitamins E and C, Taurine, Echinacea and Panax Ginseng) contributes to the good functionality of the immune system. Inulin, with its prebiotic action, promotes the balance of the intestinal bacterial microflora, reducing the risk of constipation. Cartilage precursors (chondroitin sulphate and glucosamine), antioxidants and manganese contribute to the well-being of joints, which are often suffering in elderly animals, while the correct balance of calcium, phosphorus and vitamin D contributes to the health of the skeletal system. The co-presence of taurine, carnitine and nutrients with antioxidant action can improve cardiac function.
