The presence of mineral macroelements (calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine, sodium and potassium), mineral trace elements (zinc, iron, copper, manganese, selenium and iodine) and all vitamins has been carefully considered taking into account the typical deficiencies of traditional home-made diets. The high intake of antioxidant nutrients (vitamins E and C) contributes to the good functionality of the immune system. The correct balance of calcium, phosphorus and vitamin D guarantees the correct skeletal development of growing animals, avoiding both deficiency (predisposing to rickets) and possible excess (potentially negative for skeletal development, particularly in large and giant breed dogs).
