Beaphar FIPROtec Antiparasitic for Cats is an effective and safe treatment for the prevention and treatment of flea and tick infestations in cats. This product comes in a pack of 3 pipettes, each containing 50mg of fipronil, an active ingredient known for its effectiveness in fighting parasites.

Therapeutic Indications

Beaphar FIPROtec Antiparasitic for Cats is indicated for the prevention and treatment of flea and tick infestations in cats. The product can be used as part of a treatment strategy to control flea allergy dermatitis (FAD). The treatment eliminates fleas and ticks, preventing their reproduction and spread.

The product is effective against several species of fleas and ticks, including Ctenocephalides felis and C. canis. One treatment eliminates fleas and ticks for up to a month, ensuring your cat has long-lasting protection.

Composition

The active ingredient of Beaphar FIPROtec Antiparasitic for Cats is fipronil. Each pipette contains 50mg of fipronil. Fipronil is an active ingredient known for its effectiveness in fighting parasites.

Contraindications

Do not use Beaphar FIPROtec Antiparasitic for Cats in case of hypersensitivity to fipronil or one of the excipients. Furthermore, the product should not be used on kittens under 8 weeks of age or on cats weighing less than 1 kg.

Safety of the drug for the species

Beaphar FIPROtec Antiparasitic for Cats is safe for use in cats. However, to allow exposure of parasites to fipronil, they must initiate a blood meal on the host; therefore it is not possible to exclude the risk of transmission of diseases originating from the parasite.

Precautions

Before using Beaphar FIPROtec Antiparasitic for Cats, read the instructions carefully. Do not use the product on kittens under 8 weeks of age or on cats weighing less than 1 kg. Furthermore, avoid contact with the animal's eyes while applying the product.

Method of administration

Beaphar FIPROtec Antiparasitic for Cats is supplied in 50mg pipettes. The product should be applied directly to the cat's skin, preferably in a place where the animal cannot lick it.

Treatment program

For optimal protection, we recommend applying Beaphar FIPROtec Antiparasitic for Cats once a month. Treatment should be continued year-round to prevent flea and tick infestations.
