Therapeutic indications

kcMEGA3 Pharmacross 30 pearls for dogs and cats is a complementary food specifically formulated for dogs and cats suffering from CKD.

Pharmacross kcMEGA3 is recommended during CKD associated with a diet for nephropathic subjects. High concentrations of Omega 3 fatty acids can also be useful in patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases for their antithrombotic, antiarrhythmic and antihypertensive effect.

High concentrations of Omega 3 fatty acids, particularly EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) from fish oil, have a demonstrated effectiveness in reducing the progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and in decreasing the risk of mortality associated with nephropathy in dogs and cats affected by CKD.

How to use

Recommended dosage:


Up to 4.5 kg of live weight: 1 pearl
From 4.5 to 9 kg of live weight: 2 pearls
From 9 to 13.5 kg of live weight: 3 pearls
From 13.5 to 18 kg of live weight: 4 pearls


Before administering KcMEGA3 to your dog, consult your veterinarian, who may modify the dosage.

Composition

Per 500 mg pearl:

500 mg of purified fish oil with a minimum Omega 3 content of 90% (70% EPA and 8% DHA)

Shell: fish gelatin.

Additives/kg:

Mixed tocopherols 4000 mg

Proteins: 0.11 g
Calories: 5.0 Kcal (21 kJ)
