Therapeutic indications

DiReNe®, both alone and in association with any pharmacological and/or nutritional therapy, guarantees effective support during renal pathologies in dogs and cats, improving their quality of life.

DiReNe® is a complementary support food in the case of:

• immune-mediated pathologies
• metabolic disorders such as diabetes
• primary and secondary neoplasms
• amyloidosis
• renal ischemia
• inflammatory processes affecting the kidneys (pyelonephritis, leptospirosis)
• polycystic kidney disease
• obstruction to urinary outflow due to stones
• idiopathic forms
• presence of kidney stones

Methods of use

Recommended dosage:

In dogs with chronic renal failure or other kidney diseases: 1 tablet per 10 kg of live weight, 1 time a day for at least 4 months.

In cats with chronic renal failure or other kidney diseases: ½ tablet every 5 kg of live weight, 1 time a day for at least 4 months.

Composition

•Ganoderma Lucidum (Reishi), a mushroom known for its cortisone activity which is of considerable support in reducing inflammation at the renal level
•Astragalus (Astragalus membraneceus), herbaceous plant widely used in traditional Chinese medicine for its immunostimulant and diuretic properties
•Turmeric, plant with high capacity to counteract inflammatory processes within the body
•Chitosan, polymer of D-glucosamine which incorporates phosphorus, an element whose doses must be reduced in cases of renal pathology
•Quercetin, bioflavonoid with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and protective activity against free radicals, cause of oxidative stress typical in renal pathologies
•Yucca, which reduces the level of intestinal nitrogen and improves protein digestion
•Cranberry (American Cranberry), fruit rich in flavonoids with antioxidant activity and particularly beneficial for the lower urinary tract. Cranberry also reduces the quantity of uric acid which could lead to the formation of urate stones
• Birch, with high purifying properties
