Beneficial action on the stomach and intestines: temporary dietary nutrition with low risk of irritation and low fat.
Doctor Moro's Carrot Soup owes its name to Professor Ernst Moro, who at the beginning of the 20th century worked as a primary assistant at the Ludwigs-Maximilians-Universitat in Munich. He successfully prescribed this recipe to promote gut and digestive health in children.
The soup is made up of just a few ingredients, namely carrots, water and a little salt. The carrots are boiled in water at 100°C in a 1:2 ratio for at least 90 minutes. The secret of the soup is the oligosaccharides that form during the boiling process. Similar to receptors on the intestinal surface, they can make a healthy contribution to intestinal health. Carrot also provides a number of important vitamins and minerals. Vitamin A, for example, promotes the balance of the intestinal barrier and promotes oral immunotolerance. In case of dog diarrhea, it is advisable to administer small quantities of soup several times a day.
