Therapeutic indications

Derm Stop Cream is a cream useful for treating DER in horses. Its active ingredient, benzyl benzoate, reduces irritation of the affected areas, helps control bacterial infections and keeps the insects that cause the disease away.

Relapsing Summer Dermatitis in horses is a seasonal allergic disease: it is characterized by the appearance of extremely itchy lesions caused by the bite of midges.

The lesions cause the horse to scratch often, causing them to worsen and the progressive appearance of secondary bacterial infections.

DER is a relapsing pathology that presents itself in spring and regresses in autumn to recur the following year.

Derm Stop Cream is a useful product already for prophylactic purposes, to be applied to the horse in spring before the symptoms of dermatitis appear.

Dosage and administration

Apply Derm Stop to the areas to be treated and proceed with an energetic massage against the hair.

Repeat the application twice a day during the first week and reduce the treatment progressively until reaching just one application per week
