Biotin for hoof growth - Supports the regeneration of hooves, paws and skin.

Therapeutic Indications

Biotalg provides biotin, which supports uniform nail growth. Furthermore, it is rich in trace elements, in particular copper and zinc, useful in the regeneration of the horny substance of the hoof and the skin appendages (coat, mane, tail).

Main Ingredients

• Seaweed flour
• Dried carrots
• Lithotamnium
• Sucrose
• Sodium chloride

Composition and Analytical Components

• Seaweed flour: Phymatolithon calcareum (Litotamnio calcareum)
• Analytical constituents: Calcium (Ca) 28%, Magnesium (Mg) 2.1%
• Raw material based on fossil marine algae, originating from the Breton coasts.

Advantages

Source of highly soluble calcium and magnesium. The fine particle size allows excellent dispersion in the stomach.

How to use

• Ponies: 20g per day (one scoop)
• Adult horses: 40g per day (2 scoops)

Mix Biotalg with the usual daily ration, starting the administration gradually to allow the subject to get used to the new flavour. The recommended period of use is up to eight weeks.

Dosage and Administration

Continuous administration is recommended for 4/6 months, extendable up to 9 months for subjects with particularly impaired hooves. The recommended doses are as follows:

• Ponies: 20/30g per day (approximately 1 scoop)
• Horses: 50g per day (approximately 2 scoops)

New formulation available in the 1.5 kg format, improved compared to the previous 600g format. The zinc source has been replaced by chelated phosphate for greater bioavailability. The seaweed flour has been reduced and enriched with Lithotamnium, naturally rich in calcium, and with the addition of spirulina for a complete supply of microelements.
