NexGard Combo for cats: composition and precautions
NexGard Combo combines three active substances and is prescription-only. It is indicated when the parasite groups described in the SPC are involved.
A combination with a specific indication
The verified presentation contains esafoxolaner, eprinomectin and praziquantel and is intended for spot-on use in cats. The combination must not be reduced to the generic claim “against all parasites”.
The SPC defines when the combination is appropriate, which parasites it covers and which limitations apply.
Selection and application
Weight, age, clinical status, exposure and concurrent treatments must be assessed before prescribing. Packs are not interchangeable.
Onset or duration of action must not be used as universal promises: the current leaflet and veterinary assessment remain authoritative.
