AdTab for dogs and cats: indications and precautions
AdTab includes distinct presentations for dogs and cats. The species, weight range, indications and dispensing status must be checked on the exact pack.
Identify the presentation
AdTab is a family of veterinary medicines containing lotilaner. Packs for dogs and cats are not interchangeable, and the choice must follow the species and weight range stated in the leaflet.
The product is not an antibiotic and does not contain amoxicillin.
Authorised indications
Target parasites, duration and method of administration are stated in the summary of product characteristics for each presentation. This page does not publish conflicting time frames or extend indications by analogy.
Official instructions must be followed for efficacy and safety.
Dispensing and assistance
Dispensing status is checked in the UPD and Ministry sources without reusing outdated disclaimers. Unexpected reactions or doubts about the choice require veterinary advice; the pharmacist checks the correct pack.
