Therapeutic indications

GastroPet is a complementary food for dogs and cats suffering from gastrointestinal and intestinal disorders caused by specific conditions such as:

• viral and bacterial gastroenteritis
• prolonged oral therapies with corticosteroids
• food poisoning
• chronic renal failure (CKD)
• formation of hairballs in cats
• post-surgery therapy for gastric torsion
• change of power supply
• during weaning

The supplement is useful for reducing the symptoms linked to these conditions and contributes to the well-being of the intestinal flora, reducing hyperacidity and inflammation of the gastric mucosa caused by the alteration of gastric digestion. 

Gastro Pet is formulated with phytotherapeutics of natural origin with specific therapeutic purposes:

• vegetable chondroitin, which increases functionality at the osteoarticular level and promotes the protection of the intestinal gastric mucosa;
• potassium citrate, which helps correct gastric acidity;
• ascophyllum nodosum, a marine algae with prebiotic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that strengthens immune defenses and improves gastrointestinal well-being.

Dosage and administration

Administer at least 30 minutes before the meal, according to the following recommended dosage:

• cat 1 capsule per day for at least 20 days.
• dog 1 capsule per day for every 10 kg of weight for at least 20 days
