Farmina Vet Life Struvite is a complete dietetic food intended for dogs, indicated for the dissolution of struvite-based stones and for the reduction of recurrences of struvite stones.

COMPOSITION

Rice, dehydrated chicken meat, animal fat, potatoes, oats, dehydrated whole eggs, linseed, hydrolysed animal proteins, fish oil, potassium chloride, dihydrated calcium sulphate, calcium carbonate, vegetable oil, sodium chloride. Protein sources: dehydrated chicken meat, dehydrated whole eggs. Urine acidifying additives: calcium sulphate dihydrate (5g/kg).

MECHANISM OF ACTION

The added calcium sulphate generates and maintains an acidic pH, favoring the dissolution and inhibiting the new formation of struvite crystals, and also creates an unfavorable environment for bacterial proliferation. The low concentrations of proteins, calcium, phosphorus and magnesium contained in Farmina Vet Life Struvite help to reduce the aggregation and precipitation of crystals.
