Prescription Diet™ c/d™ Multicare Feline
Recommended for:
- Initial nutritional management of cats with Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD), including crystalluria and/or urolithiasis, urethral blockages and cystitis idiopathic.
- Dissolution of sterile struvite uroliths.
- Long-term nutritional management of the cat predisposed to:
- Struvite crystals and uroliths, calcium oxalate and calcium phosphate(reduction of onset and relapses).
- Urethral plugs (almost exclusively associated with struvite or calcium phosphate crystals)
- Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC)
- Kittens.
- Pregnant or nursing females.

- Do not give urinary acidifiers while administering c/d™ Multicare Feline
- Monitor urine to ensure that the ideal urinary pH is maintained and if necessary eliminate the infection from the urinary tract.

- For Idiopathic Cystitis Feline related to environmental stress, use Prescription Diet™ c/d™ Feline Urinary Stress
- For dissolving large or multiple sterile struvite uroliths: Prescription Diet™ s/d™ Feline.
- For FLUTD caused by urates, cystine, or xanthine uroliths: Prescription Diet™ k/d™ Feline.
- **If calcium phosphate is present as brushite: Prescription Diet™ k/d™ Feline.
- For cats tending to be overweight and obese, with FLUTD: Prescription Diet™c/d™ Multicare Feline Reduced Calorie
