BT NECK Eco was created as an alternative to the classic Elisabetta collar, surpassing it with excellent performance, combining effectiveness and maximum comfort. Its function is to prevent the dog or cat from biting and therefore removing stitches following surgery. Also useful in cases of obsessive-compulsive disorders. The collar is made of breathable black velvet, where inside there is a more rigid material whose function is to prevent the animal from rotating its neck to reach any wounds. In dogs, avoid licking the areas of the chest, belly and hips, making it difficult to reach the areas near the front paw (from elbow to shoulder). Even the perianal area, involved in any operations to remove glands, fistulas or other, is protected. In cats it is useful exclusively following sterilization operations carried out on both males and females.

Greater ease of application and less invasiveness compared to the Elizabethan collar (the dog can eat and drink without constraints).

HOW TO WEAR

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

• The BT Neck Eco collar is not suitable for greyhound and bulldog breeds. The long neck of the former does not allow the stability of the brace, while the short and stocky neck of the bulldog does not allow the application of collars.
• For correct use, it is important that the collar is tight around the neck, to avoid rotation.
• During convalescence with BT Neck Eco, the dog can be taken for a walk using either the collar or the harness.
• Within 24 hours, remove the collar for 1 or 2 hours.
• The collar is not useful in case of surgery on the front legs (from elbow to paw).

SIZES - HOW TO TAKE MEASUREMENTS

Available in six adjustable sizes. To determine the correct size, measure the circumference of your dog's neck with a measuring tape (measure in the center of the neck).
