WHAT IT IS FOR

The BT LUX brace is designed to limit the total abduction of the shoulders of your 4-legged friend. It is used both in case of mild problems (e.g. inflammation) and in case of shoulder pathologies for which it is necessary to limit abduction and movement of the joint. It is also used in the post-operative period to promote gradual recovery.
It is useful in cases of:
– instability of the shoulder joint;
– dysplasia;
– laxity;
– dislocation;
– inflammation.
Inside the brace, at shoulder height, there is rigid material to increase compression and limit movement of the joints.

HOW TO WEAR

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

• During the period of constraint, it is advisable not to leave the dog alone for too long, because he could try to remove the brace, biting it or scratching it.
• All the bands and closures of the support are adjustable in length for a greater fit and grip on the dog.

Available in three adjustable sizes.

At elbow height there are two tie rods to join both joints internally.

NB: this measure is only necessary in post-operative or in case of serious pathologies that require greater limitation of the movement of the anterior joints. If it is not necessary to join both elbows, it is possible to close the safety bands on themselves.
