WHAT IT IS FOR

The BT Body Lift vest has two specific functions:

1) It is indicated for dogs with walking problems following trauma, pathologies or paralysis. It is also suitable for dogs with motor difficulties;
2) It is also suitable for dogs with spinal problems. The 2 rigid splints, inserted in the 2 side pockets, have the function of both stabilizing the support during use and compressing the area proximal to the spine in cases of pathologies of the same, keeping it in traction (for example neurological pathologies).

BT Body Lift is made of soft, washable and breathable material. The height-adjustable handle is resistant and allows you to lift even dogs with heavy weights. The handle is padded to allow the owner to support the dog without stressing the hand. The support is designed to allow the dog to expel its solid and liquid excrement even while it is being worn, without dirtying it as the private parts are left free.
Both the handle and the splints are removable.

HOW TO WEAR

(1) We position BT Body Lift. The first thing to do is bring the brace forward. The front part of the brace must in fact rest on the dog's armpits.

(2-3-4) We fasten the brace from above, inserting the Velcro straps into the white loops. The number of loops varies according to size.
We now close the front part with a horizontal tie to be inserted into the appropriate white loop.

(5-6) We attach ourselves to the hind legs by passing the appropriate tie rods around each leg, starting from the inside. It is inserted into the diagonal white loop and secured to the Velcro, without over-tightening.

(7) The handle is height adjustable. Simply loosen the Velcro and then lengthen or shorten the handle as needed, to be able to walk the dog in a natural position.

(8) Once the brace has been mounted, let's insert the handle. We position the handle cover looking for the dog's center of gravity, so that when we lift the dog it does not fall forwards or backwards.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

• During the period of restraint, it is advisable not to leave the dog alone for too long, because he may try to remove the brace, biting or scratching it.
• When putting the brace on male dogs, pay attention to the band. While wrapping the band around the pelvis, take the foreskin and pass the band in front of it to avoid compressing the urethra.

How to take measurements: measure the distance in cm from the center of the shoulder to the center of the thigh and check the table.
