Therapeutic indications
Dogs, cats, birds, rodents. Diagnosis for the highlighting of pathogenic fungi of the microsporum and trychopython type on hair, feathers, skin scrapings or skin swabs.
Dosage and administration
Dermatophytest® is based on rapid culture on dtm agar-agar. - scrape the lesion with a glass slide or scalpel blade. - collect the peripheral hairs of the lesion with tweezers. Place hair and scales on the agar gel. - first moisten the end of the swab with a drop of midifying liquid. Pass the swab over the entire lesion. Rub the swab over the agar with alternating movements, without crushing the medium. Reading time: starting 2 days after cultivation and every other day for 14 days if necessary.
