Therapeutic indications

Zanco is an anti-parasitic shampoo for dry cleaning of dogs.

The product is intended for the local treatment of parasites caused by fleas (Ctenocephalides canis), ticks (lxodes ricinus, Riphicephalus sanguineus etc.) and dog lice.

Dosage and administration

Shake the can before use then spray the product evenly over the entire body of the animal with repeated short sprays, avoiding contact with the eyes and mouth.

Using a pair of gloves, rub vigorously against the grain so as to bring the product into intimate contact with the base of the hair and the skin, rub with a cloth then brush and comb the animal's fur.

In case of intolerance to the treatment with the spray, spray the product directly onto a cloth and spread it against the grain.

Repeat the treatment 4-6 days after the first application and whenever necessary.

Interactions

Avoid the simultaneous use of other pesticides.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

It is advisable to limit its use for the time strictly necessary to achieve complete healing of the parasitosis.

None known.

Contraindications

The use of the product is contraindicated in sick and convalescent subjects. The product is also contraindicated in those subjects who present forms of known hypersensitivity towards the active ingredients or the constituents of the excipient.

However, use of the product on sensitive animals (asthmatic, allergic, etc.) is not recommended. Do not use on animals with extensive skin lesions.
