Calmex 10 VetPlus tablets

Calmex is a supplement that helps reassure and calm the dog in situations of anxiety, fear and stress. Calmex is produced with theanine, tryptophan, B vitamins and methisticum, natural painkillers and is indicated for the treatment of stress and anxiety caused by:

• noisy environments
• fireworks
• noisy parties
• lifestyle changes
• removals
• visits
• new family members
• trips or visits to the vet
• unusual trips or in moments of convalescence
• postoperative in which the animal needs rest to recover.

Dogs can experience panic or fear attacks for a variety of reasons. These attacks manifest themselves in the dog with episodes of nervousness or anxiety, which should be treated to avoid further damage. The dog reacts by showing stress or phobia when faced with a stimulus that causes fear, the most common being thunderstorms, fireworks or separation. This reaction can cause an unusual aggressive response in the dog, so it is important to treat these fears as soon as possible. Calmex is a relaxant or tranquilizer for dogs that brings these animals back into a calm state when they enter one of the aforementioned episodes of anxiety and nervousness. Calmex combines two amino acids (L-theanine and L-tryptophan), a psychoactive herbal extract and B vitamins, these elements perform anxiolytic, sedative and muscle relaxant effects in the dog, as well as an increase in serotonin levels and dopamine release in strategic areas such as the hippocampus and hypothalamus. All this translates into a reduction in aggression and stress responses, creating a healthy state of total calm in the dog. Contains a mixture of amino acids, Piper Methysticum and B vitamins which allows relaxation in dogs who experience episodes of anxiety or nervousness due to stressful situations.

Dosage and administration

The capsules can be administered whole or opened and mixed with food. Administer the dose 30 and 60 minutes before its effect is needed.
