Properties
Direne® WD is a complete dietetic food for dogs intended to support renal function in case of chronic or temporary renal failure. The dietary purpose is obtained from the combination of the specific recipe and the integration with medicinal extracts which, in synergy, are able to better support renal function. The use of a low percentage of animal proteins (20%) in favor of vegetable proteins with low azotemic content (80%) covers the complete amino acid requirement while protecting the kidneys from excessive load. The high palatability of the product and its correct caloric intake allow the dog to be fed correctly, even in the presence of decreased appetite and consequent weight loss associated with renal dysfunction. It contains neither derivatives nor by-products of animal origin.
Complies with Directive 2008/38/EC regarding the characteristics of foods with particular dietary purposes.

Doses can be varied at the discretion of the Veterinary Doctor. It is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinary surgeon before use or before extending the period of use. Use initially for 6 months in case of chronic renal failure or for shorter periods in case of temporary renal failure. Always leave fresh water available for the dog.
