Characteristics and intended use
Primolatte is a complete substitute feed suitable for newborn dogs.
It completely replaces mother's milk when this is not available or can act as a supplementary food for dogs convalescing or pregnant.
It contains:
- Milk proteins, to support normal growth;
- Vitamin A, for the well-being of mucous membranes, skin and eye membranes;
- Vitamin E, which acts as a barrier against free radicals, responsible for cellular ageing;
- Chelated Zinc, which helps stimulate immune system reactions and maintain the health of the coat and skin.
Directions for use
For administration of the product, the use of a bottle fitted with a suitable teat for dogs is particularly recommended.
Before administering the product, allow it to cool and administer it to the dog at a temperature of approximately 38° C.
The product should be administered by mixing the powder with hot boiled water in the following quantities.
Puppies for which Primolatte is the only food:
- 1 week of life: 20 g of product + 80 ml of water;
- 2 weeks of life: 30 g of product + 120 ml of water or 55 g + 220 ml of water if the puppy weighs 1 kg;
- 3 weeks of life: 70 g of product + 280 ml of water if the puppy weighs 1 kg; 130 g of product + 520 ml of water if the puppy weighs 2 kg;
- 4 weeks of life: 100 g of product + 400 ml of water if the puppy weighs 1 kg; 150 g of product + 600 ml of water if the puppy weighs 2 kg.
Other puppies and adult dogs, for which Primolatte is a supplement to the diet:
Dilute one part of powder in 3 parts of water according to the doses indicated below
- Small breed dogs: up to 220 ml per day in puppies; from 60 to 90 ml per day in adults.
- Medium breed dogs: up to 300 ml per day in puppies; from 140 to 250 ml per day in adults.
- Large breed dogs: up to 400 ml per day in puppies; from 250 to 400 ml per day in adults.
