USE

Administer in cycles of 20 days, directly to the animal or mixed in the food. 1 to 3 ml. every 5 kg. of p.v. Leave plenty of drinking water. Always ask for the opinion of your trusted veterinarian.

Properties:

Ribes nigrum buds are rich in: heteroxides, phenolic derivatives, vitamin C, amino acids: arginine 0.6 ml. per gram (average value). These components are useful for the body's natural response in case of inflammation and allergies. It may have anti-allergic activity in a broad sense, since it is the fruit of squeezing fresh bud extract, extracted from Ribes nigrum. The gems, in this case, are collected in a single mountain area, free from pollution and with excellent sun exposure. Researchers from a Florentine university used highly advanced analysis techniques, which allowed them to see how, in some products, there were high and different concentrations of flavonols, including quercetin and hydroxycinnanic acids. The high variability observed is also attributable to the different origins and conservation of the material used, as well as to the preparation method. (Ieri F. et al.. Aloe Vera juice represents an excellent nutritional source, providing polysaccharides and monosaccharides, amino acids, vitamins of groups a, c, e, b, mineral salts, enzymes; useful for the digestion of food and the maintenance of natural gastric PH. The juice, obtained from the external tubers, has anthroquinone glycosides as constituents; they induce an active secretion of water and electrolytes into the individual lumen, promoting gastric protection. Therefore, only the special processing of the fresh Ribes Nigrum bud extract favors the cortisone-like action, useful for the resolution of atopic dermatitis, food dermatitis and seborrhea on the skin of dogs and cats. In eosinophilic infections of cats it is useful to double the doses. In essence, the action of the fresh bud extract used in SIMCORT is aimed in particular at the adrenal glands where it stimulates the cortex to release substances with a strong anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic action; It behaves like a cortisone-like product with no toxicity and can be used even for long periods without side effects.

Some products containing Blackcurrant, made by numerous pharmaceutical companies, contain blackcurrant oil, or other ingredients obtained from other vegetable plants. However, none of these have anti-allergic activity. Ribes nigrum oil has no scientific evidence as being anti-allergic. It is contained in pearls, with currant seeds, which have various chemical constituents that can interact with the diuretics used by veterinarians.
