Description

It is the first preparation for ophthalmic use, in oral drops. Useful to promote the reduction of the inflammatory process in ocular pathologies of dogs and cats, in particular in immunoallergic diseases.

COMPOSITION

Blackcurrant seed oil (90%), Vitamin E, Vitamin A.

  • B.C. Linoleic Omega 6 Essential 47%
  • B.C. Stearidonic Omega 3 Polyunsaturated 3%
  • B.C. Gamma Linolenic (GLA) Omega 6 Polyunsaturated 15%
  • Vit. E Antioxidant 100,000 mg/kg
  • B.C. Alpha Linolenic Omega 3 Essential 13%
  • Vit. A Vitamin of “vision” 70 I.U./kg

INDICATIONS

Opthal Calm is a nutritional supplement in oral drops rich in Ac. g- Linolenic (omega 6) and Ac. Stearidonic (omega 3), Vitamin A and Vitamin E.

The active ingredients of Opthal Calm:

  • they help improve irritative conditions, including recurrent and chronic ones
  • they help re-establish the correct composition of tear production.

The active ingredients contained in Ophtalcalm drops promote the reduction of the inflammatory process in dog and cat eye diseases. In particular, the action is highlighted in inflammatory processes with a chronic and/or relapsing trend, in immune/allergic pathologies and in all cases in which qualitative/quantitative alterations in the production of the tear film occur.

  • CLA

The name of Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) refers to a group of geometric and positional isomers of Linoleic Acid. It is present in the meat and dairy products of ruminants. In human medicine, CLA has shown an interesting immunomodulatory effect.

  • GLA

GLA is a long-chain Omega 6 fatty acid with 18 carbon atoms, a direct precursor of Diomo-Gamma Linolenic Acid and anti-inflammatory eicosanoids with 20 carbon atoms (Prostaglandins PGE1, Leukotrienes LTB3 and Thromboxanes TXA1).

  • Vitamin E

Liposoluble vitaminwith an anti-oxidant action which protects unsaturated fats.
