Therapeutic indications

Viscostil® is an ophthalmic product for veterinary use for dogs, cats, non-dpa horses and pet rabbits. The presence of 2% hydroxypropylmethylcellulose makes it extremely viscous, lubricating and hydrating. The transparency characteristics make it suitable for use for diagnostic purposes or as an ocular lubricant in eye operations.

Dosage and administration

Remove the safety ring by lifting the tab, remove the cap of the bottle and take it between the thumb and forefinger of the dominant hand. Hold the animal's head still, containing the muzzle with the non-dominant hand, place the dominant hand on the side over the animal's head so as to be able to pull the upper eyelid lightly with the outer edge of the little finger to facilitate exposure of the eye, place the bottle over the eye and instill the necessary quantity of drops by exerting light pressure on the body of the bottle. Reward the animal after application.
