Therapeutic indications
Treatment with aticare® paraffin prevents the formation of hairballs (trichobezoars) in the digestive system and promotes their elimination. Aticare® paraffin is also recommended in elderly and sedentary subjects and in all those situations in which it is necessary to restore normal intestinal transit.
Dosage and administration
It is recommended to start with 3 days of consecutive treatment and to continue with weekly administrations, as follows: subjects <10 kg: 1 cm of paste kg/day; subjects >10 kg: 2 cm of pasta kg/day. It is possible to mix the paste into the food and divide it into 2-3 daily doses. The dosage can be modified at the discretion of the veterinary surgeon.
