Therapeutic indications

kProtect by Abiovet is a product specifically designed to support correct renal function in dogs and cats.
kPROTECT with its highly purified components (Sodium Bicarbonate, Calcium Carbonate and Chitosan) can be useful in the control of metabolic acidosis and hypocalcemia, frequently diagnosed in the advanced stages of CKD in dogs and cats. Calcium Carbonate has proven effectiveness in controlling hypocalcemia. Sodium Bicarbonate is effective in controlling metabolic acidosis. Chitosan can help improve hyperazotemia in animals suffering from CKD.

How to use

Recommended dosage: one measuring spoon every 5 kg of live weight, twice a day, at main meals.

Composition

Maltodextrin, Calcium Carbonate, Chitosan, Sodium Bicarbonate.
Additives: Natural Flavors.

Analytical components:
Crude proteins: 5.7% - Crude oils and fats: <1% - Crude fibres: 1.9% - Crude ash: 15.3% - Moisture: 3%
