Microbiotal Horse is a complementary powdered feed for horses, formulated to promote the physiological well-being of the intestinal microbiota. This product is designed to promote the intestinal well-being of the horse, thanks to its composition which includes powdered soya (seed) hulls, powdered dried carrots, maltodextrin, dextrose, barley malt, FOS-fructooligosaccharides 4%, pectin 4%, vegetable oils and fats (hydrogenated palm oil).

Microbiotal Horse also contains additives such as Olive (Olea europaea L.) extract, glyceryl tributyrate, and Saccharomyces cerevisiae MUCL 39885, a stabilizer of the intestinal flora. This product is available in packs of 20 sachets of 60 grams each.

Therapeutic Indications

Microbiotal Horse is a supplement designed to promote the health of the intestinal microbiota, that complex of microorganisms that plays a fundamental role in ensuring the health of the intestine, but also of the horse in general. Contains prebiotics and probiotics such as FOS-fructooligosaccharides, pectin and Saccharomyces cerevisiae MUCL 39885, stabilizer of the intestinal flora.

The characteristic of Microbiotal is that it also contains microencapsulated Tributyract, butyric acid. Butyric acid is a short-chain fatty acid that represents a fundamental energy source for mucosal cells. Produced by the good bacteria of the intestine starting from the fiber contained in foods, it has an extraordinary anti-inflammatory effect on the intestine, helping the cells of the large intestine to remain healthy.

Method of administration

A bucket of Microbiotal contains 20 sachets of 60g. The therapy for an adult horse involves the administration of one sachet per day when eating. The product is microencapsulated and palatable.
