Features: ESSENTIAL Junior Cat is the complementary food, essential for integrating the home-made, elimination, or BARF boneless diet of the young cat. The presence of mineral macroelements (calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine, sodium and potassium), mineral trace elements (zinc, iron, copper, manganese, selenium and iodine) and all vitamins has been carefully considered taking into account the typical deficiencies of traditional home diets. The high intake of antioxidant nutrients (vitamins E and C, taurine) contributes to the good functionality of the immune system. The correct balance of calcium, phosphorus and vitamin D guarantees the correct skeletal development of growing animals, avoiding both deficiency (predisposing to rickets) and a possible excess (potentially negative for skeletal development). The right amount of Taurine, essential in the feline species, contributes to the correct functionality of the heart and retina. ESSENTIAL Senior Cat has a reduced allergenic effect, as it contains only hydrolysed proteins. All ESSENTIAL supplements have been formulated in collaboration with dog and cat nutrition teachers at leading Italian universities.
