Therapeutic indications

Lypex is a pancreatic enzyme supplement for pets suffering from exocrine pancreas disorders associated with weight loss, malabsorption syndrome and polyphagia. 

Lypex supplements pancreatic enzymes, facilitates proper nutrient absorption and digestion, and is easy to administer.

The symptoms of pancreatitis in dogs and cats often lead to a worsening of the animal's general condition. Lypex counters them effectively and quickly.

Many dogs and cats suffer from Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI) and Malabsorption Syndrome with weight loss, polyphagia and excessive stool production.

LYPEX® is a pancreatic complementary feed.

Its capsules contain enteric pellets resistant to gastric digestion which allow the enzymes to reach the small intestine in high concentrations, maximizing their digestive effects.

Each opening capsule contains:

• Lipase 30,000 U.ph.Eur.
• Amylase 18,750 U.ph.Eur.
• Protease 1.200 U.ph.Eur.

Dosage and method of use

The capsules contain coated pancreatic enzymes resistant to gastric digestion that are released once they reach the small intestine of the animal.

The capsules must be opened and the palatable contents must be mixed with food at the time of consumption. DO NOT ADMINISTER WHOLE CAPSULES.

The daily dose must be divided equally into the various meals.

The dosage can be modified based on the clinical evaluation of the veterinarian.

To administer the capsules, open them and mix them with the food you like at meal time.

Administer the capsules according to the dosage illustrated below, or according to the instructions of your veterinarian. 

• Dogs and cats weighing less than 10 kg: 1 capsule per day
• Dogs weighing more than 10 kg: 2 capsules per day
