Therapeutic indications

STRIDE HA is a fast-acting syrup formulated for the nutritional maintenance of cartilage and joint health in horses. All this with the additional benefit of Sodium Hyaluronate.

All horse performance comes from a series of rigorous daily competitions and exercises. In particular there is enormous pressure on the joint surfaces. Healthy cartilage and adequate synovial fluid are essential to ensure that the equine athlete can withstand these pressures.

Stride HA contains 4 ingredients which, combined together, keep cartilage and joints healthy. It is formulated for excellent absorption and is very tasty even for the most inappetent horses.

Dosage

Instructions for correct use:

Initial dose: 60 ml per day for 7 days.

Subsequent doses: 30 ml per day.

It must be used as a complementary feed in the daily ration. Administer 60 ml per day for the first 7 days, then administer 30ml per day.

Sodium Hyaluronate is a normal constituent of joints. Its quantity decreases in the presence of synovitis and degenerative cartilage diseases.

One of its most important roles is to increase the viscosity of the synovial fluid, having as a direct result the reduction of friction between the joint surfaces, ensuring a fluid and correct movement of the joints.

Glucosamine increases the level of glucosaminoglycans or GAGs in the joints. These GAG'S are the supporting pillars of the cartilaginous matrix. Glucosamine HCL increases the hyaluronic acid content in the joints. Hyaluronic acid is a fundamental constituent of synovial fluid – the joint lubricant.

Chondroitin Sulfate is a substance that naturally attracts water present in the joints. An adequate quantity of Chondroitin Sulphate allows the joints to withstand constant compression and stress.

Chondroitin Sulfate inhibits the effect of enzymes that cause the “rubbery cartilage” effect present in damaged joints. MSM is a source of biologically available sulfur. Sulfur is necessary for the synthesis of connective tissues.

So MSM can be seen as the co-factor of Glucosamine HCL and Chondroitin Sulfate
