Therapeutic indications
It supports joint metabolism in case of osteoarthritis. Due to its particular characteristics it is indicated in cases of dog osteoarthritis and especially in the initial phase. It allows you to counteract the negative components of the initial phases.
Artikrill is a complementary feed to support correct joint function, which acts on each component of the joint, promoting its functionality and health; for the recovery of joint function in dogs with joint difficulties. Indicated for adult dogs to reduce joint alteration and recover mobility in case of osteoarthritis or ongoing degenerative processes and tendency to dysplasia and in dogs that have undergone joint surgery. It is also characterized by a strong chondroprotective efficacy (drugs and supplements capable of counteracting degenerative arthritic processes), which helps to reduce the destruction of cartilage and promote its repair thanks to the anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving action of its natural components:
- Helps reduce joint pain, thanks to the anti-inflammatory action of Omega 3 fatty acids and Krill oil.
- Promotes chondrogenesis and remodeling of cartilage, thanks to the action of Curcumin, Chondroitin Sulphate and Glocosamine Sulphate.
- Helps the pain-relieving action and counteracts cartilage degradation, thanks to the synergy between EPA, DHA and Glucosamine Sulphate.
- It has a strong antioxidant action against free radicals (ROS), thanks to Krill oil and Curcumin.
- It favors the long-term treatment of osteoarthritis, alone or with reduced doses of NSAIDs and corticosteroids.
Dosage and administration
To be given to the dog orally directly into the mouth or to be mixed in addition to the complete food, every day initially up to 3 months:
1 pearl per day up to 25 kg

3 pearls per day over 60 kg
It appears to be an effective and safe feed even in the case of prolonged administration.
Excellent and natural palatability.
FORMULATION
- Omega 3 fatty acids: anti-inflammatory action.
- Chondrotin and Glucosamine: basic elements of the cartilage matrix that contribute to maintaining joint functionality and mobility, helping to slow down cartilage degeneration in both puppies and adult dogs predisposed by breed, weight and type of activity.
- Glucosamine is an aminomonosaccharide, which the body obtains from glucose and participates in the production of an important family of macromolecules, called glucosaminoglycans (GAGs), which stimulate the synthesis of proteoglycans, important components of cartilage, regulating the anabolism and catabolism of cartilage. It seems that its effect is to slow down the process of joint degeneration and facilitate the recovery of normal mobility of the joint.
- Chondroitin is an element that protects and stimulates chondrocytes, considered anti-inflammatory, nourishing and lubricating for joints. Reduces pain and improves the functionality of bone joints in cases of mild to moderate osteoarthritis. Krill oil: powerful antioxidant action.
- Curcumin: promote chondrogenesis and cartilage remodeling.
