Therapeutic indications
Gag plus helps to strengthen joints, bones, cartilage, tendons and ligaments and to strengthen dental enamel in both young and elderly dogs and those that perform intense activity. Dicalcium phosphate (hydroxyapatite) is an organic substance that promotes bone growth and is contained in over 50% in bone and over 90% in dental tissue. It favors the formation of bone callus, the elastic resistance of the bone, the development of robust dental enamel, the development of straight extremities (valgus and varus of the limbs, incorrect support of the legs, joint dysplasias); with regular administration it helps prevent osteoporosis and has a positive effect on healthy bone formation. Shellfish meal (perna canaliculus) provides glycosaminoglycans to the connective tissue and articular cartilage (increase of the joint gel-buffering function). The omega fatty acids contained have anti-inflammatory action and help soothe pain. Vitamin C strengthens connective tissue and contributes to the formation of healthy gums. Vitamin E and selenium, as cellular protective factors, perform an antioxidant action by helping to eliminate free radicals.
