OstoFlex is an oral solution for pets designed to promote joint health and function in dogs of all sizes. Thanks to its unique formulation, OstoFlex helps support normal mobility and joint well-being, making it particularly suitable for elderly dogs, subjects with walking problems, difficulties in daily movements or subjected to intense physical exercise. The solution is easy to administer thanks to the liquid and highly palatable form factor, which makes it well tolerated even by the most demanding animals.
The 1 liter package guarantees prolonged use, allowing continuous and regular daily administration.
The product was created following rigorous quality criteria, ensuring stability and safety of the mixture. It can be used as a support in cases of stiffness, joint stress, reduced ability to move due to age, previous traumas or to help manage highly stressed joints (for example in sporting dogs).
The integration of OstoFlex into the diet, according to the recommended dosages, can also support the recovery of vitality and the animal's normal predisposition to play, running and physical activity even after long periods of sedentary lifestyle or convalescence.
Therapeutic Indications
OstoFlex is indicated for the treatment of joint problems in dogs, both adults and elderly, with the aim of promoting joint functionality and promoting optimal recovery of mobility. It is recommended as an adjuvant in the presence of lameness, motor difficulties, joint stiffness, pain related to hip dysplasia, arthrosis, arthritis, inflammatory or degenerative processes of the musculoskeletal system.
It can also be used as a support during post-operative rehabilitation programs following orthopedic operations, trauma or accidents that have compromised the animal's freedom of movement.
The solution proves useful in promoting the maintenance of joint plasticity and the correct functioning of the cartilage in subjects subjected to greater locomotor stress (for example dogs that are athletes or those who participate in sports competitions). OstoFlex can be integrated into nutritional plans recommended by the veterinary surgeon to slow down the progression of chronic joint pathologies and to significantly improve the quality of life of animals.
Regular and continuous use helps to reduce the intensity of joint pain, improve muscle tone and promote livelier and more playful behavior in dogs of all breeds.
Composition
Main active ingredients: OstoFlex contains a synergistic combination of ingredients with targeted action on the joints. The main components include glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), hyaluronic acid, plant extracts, vitamin C and manganese.
Glucosamine and chondroitin promote the synthesis and maintenance of articular cartilage, helping to counteract degenerative processes and promoting the elasticity and resistance of the joints.
MSM provides biologically active sulfur, essential for the formation of new connective tissues and to support the body's natural anti-inflammatory functions.
Hyaluronic acid is known for its high potential in joint lubrication and the well-being of synovial fluid, while vitamin C acts as a powerful antioxidant helping to protect joint cells from oxidative damage.
Also included are extracts derived from some selected plants and manganese, useful for the metabolism of connective tissue. The excipients are chosen to guarantee stability, safety and palatability of the mixture.
Contraindications
OstoFlex should not be administered in case of known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of its active components or excipients. Use is not recommended in puppies under 6 months, unless otherwise prescribed by a veterinary surgeon, as well as in animals suffering from serious conditions not related to the musculoskeletal system without prior advice from the veterinary doctor.
Pay attention to individual intolerance symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite or skin reactions. In these cases, immediately stop administration and consult your veterinarian for an adequate clinical evaluation.
Do not use at the same time as other joint supplements without first hearing the opinion of a specialist to avoid possible interactions or overdoses of active ingredients. Suspend use in the presence of serious liver or kidney disease.
OstoFlex is designed specifically for dogs and should not be used on other species.
Safety of the drug for the species
OstoFlex was developed to ensure maximum safety of use in dogs, resulting generally well tolerated even during prolonged treatments. Its components were selected considering their effectiveness and safety in the veterinary field. Side effects are rare, but in some particularly sensitive subjects, mild gastrointestinal disorders such as loose stools or a temporary decrease in appetite may appear.
Tolerability was evaluated on dogs of different breeds and sizes, without finding long-term toxic effects at the recommended dosages. It does not induce habituation and can also be used in combination with other treatments on veterinary indications. If adverse reactions appear, suspend treatment and consult a veterinarian for further information.
It is important to keep the solution out of the reach of children and other pets. Do not exceed the recommended doses. The drug should only be administered to those for whom it was indicated.
Precautions
It is recommended to always consult your veterinarian before starting supplementation, especially in animals suffering from particular clinical conditions or undergoing specific pharmacological therapy. Do not use OstoFlex as the sole treatment in the presence of serious joint diseases that require medical-surgical intervention, but integrate it as part of a broader therapeutic plan.
After administration, monitor the general state of the animal and evaluate any signs that suggest suspension or modification of dosages.
Avoid direct contact of the liquid with eyes and mucous membranes during administration. Store the product tightly closed, in a cool place, away from light and heat sources.
To prevent contamination, do not touch the mouth of the bottle and close immediately after each use. Wash your hands thoroughly after using the product.
Method of administration
OstoFlex should be administered orally directly into the animal's mouth or mixed with food, following the vet's instructions or the instructions on the package based on the dog's body weight. The solution is designed to be highly attractive, thus facilitating hiring even by the most wary individuals.
For correct intake, shake carefully before use and measure out the necessary quantity using the appropriate graduated mark or a measuring cup provided. Administration must be constant and daily to promote an effective treatment response and allow the reconstitution of normal joint function over time.
If you have any doubts about the administration procedure, seek advice from your veterinarian.
Treatment program
The treatment program with OstoFlex must be adapted to the specific needs of the animal and could include daily administration for cycles of at least 1-2 months, possibly repeated depending on the severity of the joint situation or the response to treatment.
It is recommended to follow the instructions provided by the veterinarian to optimize the benefits and guarantee the safety of the therapeutic process. In case of chronic pathologies, long-term use can be envisaged as part of a personalized plan. After the first intensive phase, the dosage can be reduced for maintenance purposes so as to prolong the results obtained.
In sporting dogs or those subjected to greater physical effort, periodic supplementation may also be useful for preventive purposes, in particular during the colder months or before intense sporting activities.
Regular use is essential to ensure maximum benefit and avoid relapses or stiffening of the joints.
